Bolar Trailers

The blue and white matching car and Bolar trailer came into Pacific Border RV Park just a few days before we left on our trip through the Rockies to the Calgary Stampede.






At Juniper Beach Provincial Park at Walhachin, there were three Bolar trailers with matching cars. These little fibre glass trailers are making a come back and all belonged to the same club.

Graduation and Birthday Party

Nickolas graduated on the 17th June and turned 23 on the 19th June.

Royal Canadian Navy

Royal Canadian Navy Celebrated 100 years this year. There were visiting naval vessels from Australia, France, Japan, New Zealand and the USA that were anchored in the Royal Roads anchorage out from Esquimalt Harbour. There was a parade on the Friday and the Canadian Snow Birds did a fly past.

Tree Falling

While we were staying with John, Peggy and Nickolas, the neighbours a couple of houses up the street had a huge tree removed from their back yard. The crane was bought into hold the tree while it was being cut, then lift it over the house to the road where it was cut up for removal. The top quarter was removed whole, then the rest was cut in shorter sections and lifted over the house.

Tall Tail Award

Derek and Lene have have been the custodians of the Tall Tail Award for the last couple of years and decided to pass it onto the next deserving couple who are this year Brian and Marilyn. Peggy gave a very compelling reason as to why she and John should not be the current award winners.
