Radiator repairs

We took Dutchess into Canadian Truck & Trailer
to have some service work done on a overheating
problem we had last year while traveling up some
very steep mountains in 30++ degrees.

Dutchess at 3.6m or 11' 9'' high looks tiny beside an 18 wheeler semi trailer in the next bay.

Bill, Kenny the mechanic and the supervisor decided that maybe our over heating problems were not the thermostat as first thought but maybe they should take a look at the three radiators.

Kenny hosing off large radiator.

Kenny blowing the first of the dust off the rad.

Dutchess over the the pit with large rad on the floor and small one still attached.

Kenny first took one large radiator off, then removed the small one leaving the third large rad. still attached.

Kenny and his supervisor checking out the dirt, dust, leaves and a piece of rag stuffed in between the radiators.

Dinner at Pacific Border RV Park

There has always been a wonderful social atmosphere at PBRV and tonight was a perfect example. Agnes and Hans invited Ron and Ann and ourselves over for a very social afternoon and dinner. The dinner, the company and the weather made for a very pleasant time.

Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains

Looking up Blackcomb Mountain, people were still skiing and snow boarding and although Whistler Mountain runs were closed Blackcomb is staying open until the end of May.

Dinner at Bea and Rex's

After the drive to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains for the day we had a lovely dinner at Bea and Rex's. Ruth, Joanne, Rex, Bill and Bea, four cousins. Joanne was out from Ottawa on a business trip and took a weeks holiday after to visit friends and cousins as it was her first time out to the West Coast. Also the first time she had met Bea and Rex.
