The Banff Highway is being expanded to 4 lanes with tunnels or arches to allow the wild animals to cross without being on the highway.

Tunnel Mountain - Rockies

We stopped at the view point for The Spiral Tunnels in Kicking Horse Pass elevation 1647 meters. Trains can be as long as 120 cars and have as many as three or four engines in the front and a couple more in the middle of the train. It is possible to see the last of the train going into the tunnel as the engine comes out of the spiral.

Juniper Beach - Walhachin

Our second night we stayed at Juniper Beach Provincial Park on the fast flowing Thompson River, with the CN and CP railroads either side of the camp ground and very long trains going by about every twenty minutes. A very nice setting and one of our favourite camp sites.

Traveling with Brian & Marilyn

We left Pacific Border RV Park on the 4th of July with Brian and Marilyn and headed up to Whistler for the night. Had a good tour around the village and extended Whistler area and Millie came over for dinner that evening.

Bolar Trailers

The blue and white matching car and Bolar trailer came into Pacific Border RV Park just a few days before we left on our trip through the Rockies to the Calgary Stampede.

At Juniper Beach Provincial Park at Walhachin, there were three Bolar trailers with matching cars. These little fibre glass trailers are making a come back and all belonged to the same club.
