St Saviour's Anglican Church

St Saviour's Anglican Church is still consecrated, owned by the Anglican Church and every Sunday they hold a service.

The stoves

Some of the wood stoves are huge, the once above is in J. P. Taylor's Drug Store.
This one was in the House Hotel Coffee Saloon
The Government Assay Office; J. O. Travaillot, Surveyor, Joseph Parks, Barrister & Solicitor
Small wood stove in a living room, note the bear skin on the wall.
The best stove of all  in this kitchen.

Main Street Barkerville

Main Street Barkerville looking North and South
Below a wooden water pipe bringing water from up the hill, across the street to the Waterous Saw Mill.

Moose

On the way down the mountain back to Quesnel I had just been saying to Bill 'When are we going to see  some wild life?'  and around the next corner we saw these two moose a couple of kilometers apart.

Size counts!

While staying a couple of nights at the Robert's Roost RV Camp Ground in Quesnel, two of these huge 5th wheel Toy carriers came into the park along with another 40'+ double rear axle motor home pulling a trailer with two ATV's on board. The three rigs were traveling together so we presume that both the 5th wheels had a couple of ATV's in them.

A nasty day to drive the Coquihalla Hwy

We left Hope in the morning of 4th June to start up the Coquihalla Hwy in rain, low clouds and very miserable cold weather,  went through Kamloops and stayed the night at Juniper Beach Prov. park with the CN rail lines on one side of the park and across the river the CP rail lines,  A good place to count trains here. as they usually go by at about 15 minute intervals.....the most I have counted is 163 engines and cars.
