Morocco

Easy to get lost here, in the narrow alleyways. Lots of rugs for sale and Belly Dancer costumes but beware of the salesman wearing a fez!

France

Impressions de France.

With lovely French architecture you felt as though you could be strolling down a 'rue' in Paris. There was a great 360 degree presentation film of the high lights of the country. Kath enjoyed a visit to the two perfume shops and in the Guerlain of Paris looking for her favourite, found this pink Xmas shoe tree decorated with bottles of perfume.

United Kingdom

Beautifully presented streets and buildings that could be from any small town in England. Father Christmas was helping to get us all into the festive spirit.

'O' Canada

A West Coast Long House and the Chateau Frontenac greeted us when we arrived for the circle vision trip across the country, hosted by Martin Short. The film started with a complete 'white out' blizzard, but then took us to all points of the country. 'Pere Noel', a Lumber Jack Father Christmas was there to encourage the 'kids' to be good!

McDonald's at Epcot

You will probably have to 'click' on these pictures to see the very 'low key' McDonald's advertising. Wouldn't it be nice if they were always advertised on this scale?

Imagination

Journey into Imagination with 'Figment', a journey that will engage the imagination, the senses and smell.

Then a 3D adventure film, 'Honey, I Shrunk the Audience'.

Disney World, our first brief look.

The other day we drove towards Orlando and stopped off to get our bearings around Disney World. Our first glimpse was of the entrance to Magic Kingdom and drove past the huge dome of Space Mountain. The whole complex of Disney World is interlaced with a monorail system over forty square miles. We stopped off at Disney Downtown for a walk around and lunch. One section of Downtown Disney is shops for the kids. These statues are outside the Lego Imagination Center/shop and the family and dogs are all made from Lego pieces. Other shops are Disney toys at Once Upon a Toy, a shop for kids to get Disney caricatures clothing and costumes at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, we saw many small girls dressed in fancy costumes, and Virgin Megastore. There are many 'Theme' restaurants, along with Disney Quest Indoor Interative Theme Park, Pleasure Island and last but not least La Nouba at Cirque du Soleil.
