From Grande Pre to Maitland we chose the highway that followed the coast of the Bay of Fundy. This proved to be a very rough route. At the Millpond Camp ground we met Ian and Meg from New Zealand after Kathy noticed Meg's bone carving. What a small world it is as they lived in Matamata for 14 years and owned and ran the Saddle Shop located in the old Power Board Building. They know Irena & Jim very well and are now living at Lake Tarawera, when not traveling overseas!
Tropical storm 'Ike' went through with humity, high winds and fog but no rain.
