After the Parade that was about two hours long we made our way to the Stampede Grounds to watch the start of the Rodeo.
Here a bull rider is just about to be sent flying.
The Stampede opened on Friday 9th July with the parade and we went back again on the following Monday to watch the sheep dog trials, cowboy up competition, cattle penning, and the Rock N Roll Ice Show with three of Canada's Olympic medalists and the return to the ice of Elvis Stoyko.
