Boating on the Ottawa River

On Saturday afternoon we had a chance to join Minou and O'Neil for a river trip on their ‘very fast’ sport boat to Montebello, hitting 53 mph several times. There is a beautiful resort and marina at Montebello and a neat stop in mid river off the month of the River Rouge where a sand bar has formed and speed boats just congregate with everyone in the water up to their waists! A floating platform with drinks and ice were floated around.
