After a very enjoyable weekend, Monday allowed us time for a car trip with Ruth through Oka and back to Deux Montangues ( Two Mountains) where I grew up. Oka has a well know cheese factory, well know for its 'Oka Cheese'. We stocked up on several varities of cheese before driving on to Deux Montangues. The older house at 1809 Blvd. du Lac has changed considerably from what I remember, but 100 17th ave. is much the same. The garage has been converted to an extra room and of course the blue spruce are now mature trees. We planted them as small samplings!
