Bourbon Street

The pictures do not do Bourbon Street justice. Yvonne and I were there one morning when it was very quite and not many people around, but the day before when we were in the market Bill wandered down a few blocks and he said the jazz, music and noise just about knocked you over. The French Quarter of which Bourbon Street is just one to dine and carouse, is the city's great drawing card. Visitors throng to its restaurants and fine hotels. There are antique shops on Royal Street to explore. The Quarter contains enough of the proper and improper, the scared and the profane, and the conventional and the unconventional to keep any visitor amused.
