We stopped at Rustic Sands Camp Ground at Mexico Beach, still in Florida for New Years Eve. We walked the soft white sandy beach looking for sand dollars but found only pelicans sleeping on the pilings.
The campground had a party that evening but only some of the crew of 'Dutchess' made it through until midnight to welcome in the New Year. Bill disappeared around 10pm and Yvonne and Kath watched the Phantom of the Opera until 12:30am.
