The Strip at night is very colourful and one of the most spectacular is the Mirage's Volcano. Every hour on the hour the Volcano erupts in front of the casino for about ten minutes.

In 2002 we had a wonderful trip across Canada in a VW Westfalia camper 'Adolph'. - Our 'Home on Wheels' or better known as the 'Wagon Train' is a 38' Dutch Star motor home made by Newmar and powered by a 300 hp Cummins Diesel engine. 'Dutchess' comes with all the comforts that you would find in a small house,frig, freezer,toilet,shower,gas stove,convection oven/microwave,2 TV's and a queen size bed. With no lawns to cut! Behind 'Dutchess' we tow a Suzuki Grande Vitara 4 wheel drive SUV. 'Granny' is used for all our local sightseeing, and running around while the motor home is parked.
