Oatman Minning Town is high in the Warm Spring Wilderness Park on the west side of Sitgreaves Pass, Elevation 3523 feet. The miners had Burros to work in the mines and carry food and water to the town, when the gold ran out and people moved away they just let the Burros go wild. Today there are a couple of dozen wandering the main street of Oatman.
