We are both impressed with agriculture in the valley as well as the history, much of it influenced by the Acadian population that settled here in 1604, and was expelled in 1755. The photo of the valley, doesn't do justice to its beauty as we had rather low clouds and fog. (It looks rather like the view from the top of the Kaimai's over looking Matamata.) Pictured are a few of the many outstanding homes in the area.
