Mahone Bay to Annapolis Valley

Rayport Campground was a very pleasant stop while we were 'busy' sailing on the Bluenose II. Not only did we have a small river flowing right past the back of 'Dutchess' but we had wireless internet and cable vision.

A small crisis developed when we were about to leave, the automatic/electric steps would not come in and it was necessary to disconnect the lever arm and tie them in. This made getting in and out very difficult and contributed to Kath having a very sore back. In Bridgewater we stopped at the local RV dealer and found out the 'black box' step controller was not working and a new one had to be ordered.

Our trip across Nova Scotia to the Annapolis Valley presented us with some very rough roads, we are quickly learning that 'Dutchess' is a 'freeway queen' and not a rough road 'trail breaker'. The Annapolis Valley is the Nova Scotian Bread Basket, with very productive farm land and orchards.
