This gentleman, originally a Brit but now lives on the west coast of the South Island in New Zealand, we met in Dawson City about a week ago when he met up with the young Spanish guy who had cycled through 66 countries.  They had met last year in New Zealand and had agreed to met here on a certain day in Dawson City.  When we met him on the Dempster Hwy it was raining and he still had the Richardson Mountains to cross before he reached either of the ferries to Inuvik.  He was surrounded by mosquito's and just stopping to talk to him for a few minutes they invaded the car and we were swatting mosquito's for the next twenty minutes. We take our hat's of too him for his perseverance.
