Turnagain Inlet

The Inlet south of Anchorage is called Turn Again Inlet as Captain James Cook explored this area as well and due to the large tides and fast currents, they were always turning and anchoring to hold their position. It is a very pretty drive and reminded us very much of the Sea to Sky Hwy between Vancouver and Squamish in Howe Sound on the way to Whistler. W had to drive up and around the inlet then headed into the mountains to get to Soldotna.
