We visited Christ Church Cathedral, which was built in 1853 in one of the earliest and best examples of the nineteenth century revival of Gothic Architecture bought from England. The building has beautiful stained glass windows both ends and all down each side. The building has had two fires during it's history one in 1911 that destroyed the central tower that housed the eight bells and the pipe organ, and a year ago the fire was caused by faulty wiring, but this time only had smoke damage.
