New York City from New Jersey and Brooklyn

On Sunday after arriving at New Haven, we drove Granny into New York as we had booked into a RV Campground right in downtown Jersey City. The location was wonderful with this view out onto Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty but getting there was a little nerve wracking even in Granny let alone Dutchess. We suddenly found that 'Parkways' are for cars only and when it says no Semi's or Trucks that also means no motorhomes or campers. One of the bridges we went under would have taken off our airconditioning. We cancelled our booking and stayed out at New Haven and took the train into New York.
