New York City and Grand Central Station
Grand Central Station is one of two major rail stations serving the city, with Grand Central having commuter and long distance rail services heading north and west. The second station, Penn Central also has local and country wide services moving out to the south and west.
We traveled from New Haven CT via Amtrak arriving at Grand Central after an hour and a half train ride. The Station is a beautiful building built during the era when rail was the most important means of travel throughout the country, it still retains this grandeur today and is a very exciting way to enter the city.
