From Cape Canaveral we headed south again on I95 to Fort Pierce were we spent the night at a Flying J Plaza. It was very busy with no room in the RV area so we moved into the 180 parking space lot with the 'semis'. The next morning we drove slightly inland and south on Hwy 70 to the north end of Lake Okeechobee. We stopped at a rest stop on I 95 for lunch and these birds were walking round, They are Sandhill Cranes not afraid of humans at all and I got quite close to them.
