Some fine examples of the architecture, all these mansions would have had stables around the rear of them. These show their front entrances and the veranda's along the side of the building.
We are here during early winter and at the moment it is warm and humid, but during the summer it must be absolutely brutal with the heat and humidity. These houses are built so that many of their rooms can have some air movement.
